THE STATE GOVERNMENT

The California State is constituted according to a framework. It is consisting of three distinct branches: the legislative, administrative, californi state and judicial. Each section has its own functions and works autonomously to ensure a balance of power. The legislative branch, headed by the General Legislature, is responsible for passing laws.
